What goes into the price of a tattoo
A tattoo is an investment for years to come, so it’s important to understand what its price is made up of. Our studio has no fixed price list: every piece is created for a specific person. The final cost depends on the style, level of detail, size, placement and how long the session will take.
Size alone doesn’t set the price. In realism, most of the time goes into detail — the gaze, skin texture, folds of fabric, highlights and smooth tonal transitions. That’s why a small but richly detailed tattoo can take more hours than a large, simple one.
Who does your tattoo matters just as much. Every artist has their own rate, which reflects their expertise. At Sagma Tattoo Gallery you’ll work with professionals who have many years of experience in realism — you’re paying for their craft and for a result you’ll be proud of for years.
A custom design based on your idea is already included in the price. All single-use materials are sterile and opened in front of you, and we use only the best inks and equipment from certified manufacturers.
Please note: a low price for a tattoo is almost never a coincidence. It usually comes down to a lack of experience, cheap materials or rushed work, and the result is blurred lines, faded colours and patchy pigment. Fixing a tattoo like that almost always costs more than getting it right the first time: a cover-up needs a larger size, more density and sometimes laser removal beforehand. A tattoo stays with you for life, so choosing a studio on price alone is a saving you’ll regret later. Safety, the artist’s skill and the quality of the work are worth more than a difference of a few hundred złoty.
