Lettering
For words that matter to you: a name, a date or a line from a favourite song.
Lettering looks like the simplest tattoo, yet it's where precision shows straight away: even letters, consistent spacing, a line of the same weight from start to finish. That's why your artist plans the font, size and placement as carefully as the design of a large piece.
What you can write
The coordinates of a special place, a motto, a quote from a book, words in your native language or another one. Lettering can be a tattoo on its own or part of a larger piece — a caption under a portrait, for example, or a date next to a flower.
Font and size
The font sets the character of the lettering: strict, light, handwritten, gothic. Your artist chooses it to suit the meaning of the words, the length of the text and the placement, and makes sure the letters don't run together. A fine line looks good on a flat area, while larger letters work better on the hand and fingers.
How to prepare your text
Send the text exactly as it should appear on your skin: with the right letters, capitals, punctuation and line breaks. If the lettering is in a language you don't know, check the translation with a native speaker beforehand.

01Can lettering be very small?
It can, but every letter needs room: over time the lines in the skin spread slightly, and letters that are too small merge. Your artist will suggest a size at which the lettering stays readable for years.
02Can I choose my own font?
Yes. Send us an example of a font you like, and your artist will adapt it to the length of the text and the placement.
03How long does a lettering tattoo take?
Short lettering is usually done in one short visit. A long text or a complex font takes more time — your artist will let you know in advance.
04How much does a lettering tattoo cost?
Small lettering starts at the minimum price of 400 zł, which covers setting up the workstation. A long text or a complex font costs more.
