Cookies

Which cookies the Website uses, what loads only after your consent, and how to change your choice.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the user’s device during a visit. Browser storage (localStorage and similar technologies) works in a similar way. In this Policy, “cookies” means both cookies and such technologies.

The controller of the Website and of the cookies is ZakharovTattoo Oleksii Zakharov, Aleja Wincentego Witosa 31/7, 00-710 Warszawa, Poland, NIP 5273091010 (the Studio). Detailed information on the processing of personal data is provided in the Privacy Policy.

2. Which cookies we use

  • Necessary — required for the basic functions of the Website: secure sign-in to the Client Account, remembering the selected language and consent settings, the online chat, and protection against attacks. They cannot be switched off.
  • Functional — enable features provided by third parties: playing the Studio’s YouTube videos directly on the Website.
  • Analytics — used to analyse how the Website is used: the number of visitors, traffic sources and the most visited pages. They include the Studio’s own visitor counter and Google Analytics 4.
  • Marketing — used to measure the effectiveness of the Studio’s advertising campaigns and to show ads tailored to the user’s interests: Google Ads and the Meta pixel (Facebook, Instagram).

3. Legal basis

Necessary cookies are used without consent because they are essential to provide the service requested by the user (Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law). Functional, analytics and marketing cookies are used only with the user’s consent (Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Managing consent

On the first visit, the Website displays a consent window. Until the user responds, only necessary cookies are used. In the window, the user can accept all cookies, reject all of them or choose individual categories in the settings.

Consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time using the icon in the bottom-left corner of the Website or the “Change your choice” button on this page. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. When consent is withdrawn, the Website deletes the cookies of the category concerned.

Consent is valid for 12 months. After that period, and whenever the list of tools used changes, the Website asks for consent again. A Global Privacy Control signal sent by the browser is treated by the Studio as a refusal of analytics and marketing cookies.

The Studio keeps a record of each decision — the consent ID, the selected categories, the date, the version of the consent window and the language — for 24 months in order to demonstrate that consent was given. The record does not include the IP address or device data.

5. YouTube videos and the directions map

A YouTube video is loaded only after the play button is clicked; the click constitutes consent to YouTube functional cookies. The player runs in an isolated browser frame whose data is deleted when the page is closed.

The Google Maps directions map is displayed without consent: it does not store data on the user’s device and does not read the user’s Google cookies. When the map is displayed, Google receives the device’s IP address — see the Privacy Policy for details.

6. How to delete cookies in the browser

Cookies and browser storage data can be deleted in the browser settings: Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data; Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data; Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. After deletion, you will need to sign in to the Client Account again, and the Website will ask for consent again.

7. Changes to this Policy

The Website informs users of material changes to this Policy by asking for consent again.
